Awesome! So, what exactly is a Portrait Party?
Exactly what it sounds like! A hostess invites as many guests as they would like to a "girls-night" event held either at their home, in our studio, or on location outdoors (don't worry, if you love outdoor, natural portraits we can help with that too). You provide refreshments, good convo, and your smiles, and we'll bring backdrops, lighting, scenery, wardrobe, and accessories! You can add-on professional hair and makeup (additional cost, but completely optional) and of course, a ton of fun and reassurance! You'll spend a few hours getting dolled up and hanging out with your besties, and we will take fun portraits of all of you in 20-minute increments in an easy, laid-back atmosphere. It's the perfect environment for bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, or just because you never get a fun night out with your girls!
And, what's in it for me?
As a hostess, you'll be eligible to earn your session FREE by getting 5 of your friends to glam it up with you! You'll also receive a free hostess gift-of-the-month, and if one of your guests books a party of their own, you'll also receive a $100 print credit!
And my guests? Will they be pressured to buy something?
We've all been to THAT party (where the hostess insists there's no obligation to buy but you get there and can't seem to squeeze out the door without dropping $100 on something out of guilt). Not with a Portrait Party! Of course, we genuinely want you to LOVE your photos, and will help you through any reservations you might have. Our knowledge and experience with lighting, posing, tips and tricks to make you look your best will unleash your inner goddess, but even so, there is no pressure to buy anything. Your guests will receive a complimentary watermarked social media file to share with their friends just for showing up, and will also have access to our exclusive party discounts. It's also a really great way to try us out if you need family or wedding photos, with no obligation.
I don't actually need a Girls Night (what?!) Can I book a Portrait Party for children or families?
Absolutely! While the Portrait Party was dreamt up as a getaway for moms and working women needing a laugh and recharge, we also offer portrait parties for kids (great for milestones and birthday parties), tweens and teens, families, or even coworkers and headshots. Do you sell a party-based product? Let us know! It's recommended to book your Portrait Party at least a month in advance to give ample notice to your guests, plan for your party details, and give us time to prep and prepare for your sessions.
